Girls Lose to Bridgeport

FAIRMONT — The homestanding Fairmont Senior’s girls’ basketball team put its share of points on the board, but couldn’t stop sharp-shooting Bridgeport in a 69-62 loss Saturday.

In all, the Indians hit nine 3pointers to help send the Polar Bears to a second straight loss.

Kaitlinn O’Neal led Fairmont Senior with 16 points. Jenai Stubbs added 13 points to reach double digits.

Brooklyn Little had nine points, while Aryssa Hudson finished with eight and Katie Nunan had six.

Fairmont Senior visits Preston Tuesday.
